Recurring classes in 3D designing and printing for children
1
Learning 3D design
During classes, children learn the basics of modeling solids and spatial elements. During the semester, they create increasingly complex projects in computer programs.
2
Basics of 3D printing
We take a 3D printer to each class, which prints a different object each time. Children learn how this device works, observe the process of producing objects live and learn about the applications of 3D printing and around the world.
3
Materialization of ideas
We print each child’s project made during our classes in 3D and bring it to the participants to the next classes. This is the final step where students can touch and take home the item they have previously designed themselves.
We offer a new dimension of education for children,
which develops construction thinking, teaches modern technologies
in a practical way, and thus provides a good start into the future.
The goals of our classes
- Developing children's interests
- Increasing the time of concentration and attention
- Developing spatial and construction thinking, imagination and creativity
- Developing social, emotional and communication competences
- Developing cognitive processes: thinking, attention, memory, perception (reading instructions)
- Impact on a child's self-esteem and belief in their own abilities
- Improving motor skills
- Getting used to technology and virtual reality
- Improving educational processes and developing talents
